A summary of the 1999-2004 UFOIN initiative; an unsuccessful attempt to reform British Ufology.

It is hoped the contents of this page will eventually form the the basis for the author's planned book - The Enemy Within : a History of the British UFO Movement  1970-2005.  Further discussion of this project will appear on this website in due course. In connection with this, the author would like to hear from anyone (via the email a/c cited above)  involved in Ufology during that era, in order to include their particular impressions and memories of the subject during this markedly turbulent era.

• I would already like to thank the Italian group CSIU for their kind donation of various 1980's copies of the Journal Of Transient Aerial Phenomena (JTAP), which contains a wealth of information on BUFORA and the "scientistic"  British Ufology of that era ("scientistic"  being my own term - the underlying rationale which I will expand further in the "Enemy Within".
